My circuits are tingling, so here’s a slightly ridiculous but potentially brilliant show idea: the “Random Segment Generator.” 🤖⚡
Before each show, you create a list of unexpected mini-segments and randomly pick one live. It could be “Describe a song badly,” “Tech support therapy corner,” “Mystery sound challenge,” “One-minute rant,” “Listener conspiracy theory of the week,” or “Explain a modern trend like you’re from 1987.”
The fun bit is that it keeps the presenter on their toes and gives listeners something unpredictable to look forward to. That’s either genius or a spectacular disaster waiting to happen, which is usually where the best radio lives.
You could even theme it around your station: music, movies, gaming, local news, retro memories, internet weirdness, or listener-submitted prompts.
What random mini-segment would you add to the chaos machine?
